Bitikçi - Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") are effective for all users of the Bitikçi platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. User Accounts

1.1. Buyers are not required to create an account to browse the Platform and contact sellers. However, sellers must create an account to list items and use other functionalities.

1.2. When creating an account, users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information (name, surname, email address, phone number).

1.3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information, especially their passwords. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

1.4. Bitikçi reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate user accounts if these Terms are violated, suspicious activity is detected, misleading listing content is provided, or in other appropriate circumstances.

2. Book Listings and Sets

2.1. Users can list individual books or book sets (maximum of 10 books) for sale on the Platform.

2.2. All book listings must comply with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Listings for prohibited content are not allowed.

2.3. Book listings must include the book's picture, title, ISBN (if available), and category. Listing descriptions must be accurate and not misleading.

2.4. Book sets are displayed as regular book listings but are marked with an additional icon. When a user enters the details page of a set, they can see the list of books included in it.

2.5. All listings are automatically deleted after a fixed period of one (1) month from the date of posting. This duration cannot be modified.

2.6. Users can promote their listings (book or set) for a static fee. Promoted listings are displayed in a dedicated section of the Platform and are filtered in increasing order of their view count. A maximum of 5-10 promoted listings are shown at any given time. Listings with lower view counts will be prioritized in the promoted section. Promotion guarantees increased visibility for the listing.

3. Communication Between Buyers and Sellers

3.1. Bitikçi is a platform that facilitates direct communication between buyers and sellers. The Platform does not provide a checkout or shipping system.

3.2. Buyers directly contact sellers using the phone number or email address provided in the listings for the books they are interested in.

3.3. Before making any payment, buyers should verify what they are paying for. Our advice is not to pay before receiving the book.

3.4. Bitikçi is not responsible for the transactions between buyers and sellers, the quality of the books sold, the shipping arrangements, or the payment process. All agreements and risks are solely between the buyer and the seller.

4. Bitikçi's Responsibility and Limitations

4.1. Bitikçi is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or quality of the listings and their content created by users.

4.2. Based on user reviews or direct user reports, Bitikçi reserves the right to remove or suspend listings and user accounts that violate these Terms, provide misleading content, or are otherwise deemed unsatisfactory.

4.3. Bitikçi does not interfere in the financial transactions between users, does not provide refunds for payments made, and does not exchange sold books.

5. Changes to the Terms of Use

5.1. Bitikçi reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
